This is what makes Haddee different. The internship is part of being a Haddee full-service counseling student — and families don't have to look elsewhere for an older sibling.
Full-service counseling students
All Haddee full-service counseling students can join our 8-week summer remote internship with us. It's part of being a Haddee full-service student — real work experience, mentoring, and a project they can show to colleges, not just application advice.
Their siblings in college
Their siblings who are in college can also join us. Families don't have to look elsewhere for the older sibling — college siblings are welcome in the same internship.
Why it matters
Haddee has worked with student interns since before our first class. The summer internship gives counseling students — and their college siblings — the chance to practice what they've learned alongside our team.
Interns work on real projects alongside the Haddee team. Past internships have spanned engineering, business, digital marketing, and software engineering.
Students are mentored by the Haddee team through the summer as they take on new work and build new skills.
Students finish with a project they can show to colleges. Summer 2026 interns presented the AI business and engineering apps and startup concepts they built.
How it works
The internship runs for 8 weeks in the summer and is fully remote, so students can participate wherever they are.

Over the summer, interns contribute to real projects with mentoring from the Haddee team, wherever they are.

About Haddee
Haddee began during the COVID-19 pandemic as the H.O.T. project—Help Our Teachers. Founder Dandan Pan saw schools close and teaching hours disappear, affecting educators professionally, financially, and socially.
In the summer of 2020, four young interns, ages 14 to 19, wrote the requirements for a collaborative education platform. That fall, two more interns, ages 17 and 18, built it. Haddee launched its first class on January 23, 2021.
Today, Haddee connects students with experienced educators who provide rigorous academic guidance while helping them build confidence, empathy, and skills for an impactful life — and gives students the chance to practice what they've learned through internships with us.

Haddee is Dandan's family dog. Emily, a 14-year-old intern (now at MIT), designed the original wordmark. Look closely: Haddee's head forms the letter “a.”
